East Rock Century 2025!

NHBC's third annual East Rock Century is back for 2025 on Saturday, June 7! The East Rock Century is a completely free, "choose your own adventure" ride around East Rock Park in New Haven. Challenge yourself to complete as many laps as you can, climbing to the top of East Rock before descending down and starting all over again! Last year’s East Rock Century was an absolutely smashing time, with 104 total participants, 20 of whom rode the full 100 miles. This year, we think we’ll be able to do even better! Our goal for this year is to keep the fun, encouraging, lighthearted atmosphere that made last year so much fun and get even more folks out there riding laps around the best rock in town.

Fun events like East Rock Century don’t happen all on their own though - they require a veritable army of volunteers. Last year, a whole bunch of folks turned out in force to help clean the course, chalk up the road, and help with day-of tasks like registration, keeping water coolers filled, and, most importantly, handing out snacks.
